Sandra Madjdi is a in-demand stylist, with her services of Hair, Makeup and Wardrobe being retained by a number of high-profile clients, including , Global ambassador and humanitarian Dr. Alison Thompson of the Third Wave Volunteers, Wyclef’s Jean sister a Grammy Nominated artist and philanthropist Melky Jean , PETA, Coco Cola , Real Housewives of Miami, Miss Universe from Colombia, choreographer Potty Castilo, Ray J, Melissa Carcache , Ruby Stewart , legendary baseball player David Ortiz, triple platinum global artist DJ Robbie Rivera, Clinton Portuse of the Washington Redskins , Singer/Songwriter and actress Mandy Moore and the President of Carnival Cruise Line Christine Duffy. She has done a pilot for a Bravo docudrama in 2008. Additional work has consisted of the American Black Film Festival, the MTV Music Awards, the BET Awards, the BET Hip-Hop Awards, and fashion shows in New York City and Miami.

 

My Story

Sandra Madjdi was born in Tehran , Iran while the Shah was still in power. Her Mother,  the city budget planner and her grandfather a diplomat and congressman, her family was exiled while she was still young, and they ended up taking refuge in Italy. Her mother, who was known in Iran to have an eye for hair and makeup, taught her everything she knew as a child and instilled in her a singular dream of becoming a recognized stylist. The family relocated to the United States, and Sandra attended college in Virginia, earning her Bachelor of Science at the University of Mary Washington. Despite this high level of technical education, she still maintained her dream, styling her professors and her peers, and upon graduation, she moved to New York City in search of opportunity.

That was 1997. Two months after she had moved to the City, she found a job at a salon, where the owner was collaborating with a European color company called Alpha Parf . 

Sandra was made one of the platform educators artistry in color, also doing all the makeup for the platform models. Sooner she was on her way to recognition. 

She parlayed this opportunity into a budding freelance career, dressing people all throughout Manhattan and doing window displays in Soho, meeting socialites and a number of Hollywood celebrities.

From there she landed gigs as an assistant and as a hair stylist and makeup artist at Fashion Week, working with designers and brand like Calvin Klein , Betsy Jonson , Mac Cosmetics to name a few . And With heavy weight models like Adriana Lima, to name a few. She signed with Ford talent. 

Assisting on the shoot of Gwyneth Paltrow's Vogue OSCAR cover in 1998, which led to a number of other cover shoots for magazines such as Essence, In Style, Marie Clair , Maxim and Harper’s Bazaar. This continued on throughout the 1990s and the 2000s, until in 2006 she decided to Brand her self and DeuxLove was born. She continued her passion of fashion and beauty , Until she met her now-ex-husband a Celebrity Barber from Puerto Rico , and the two of them set off for Miami with the intention of jumpstarting a beauty and fashion revolution. 

Aided by the connections she had made in New York, she quickly made her mark in Miami and kept on traveling, taking on projects in cities such as Washington and NYC , Los Angeles.

Sandra Madjdi became an in-demand stylist, and her services of Hair, Makeup and Wardrobe were retained by a number of high-profile clients, including , Global ambassador and global humanitarian Alison Thompson of the Third Wave Volunteers, Jean Wyclef’s sister a Grammy Nominated artist and philanthropist Melky Jean , PETA, Cocoa Cola , Real Housewives of Miami, Miss Universe from Colombia, choreographer Potty Castilo, Ray J, Melissa Carcache , Rubi Stewart, Dennis Rodman, legendary baseball player David Ortiz, triple platinum global artist DJ Robbie Rivera, Clinton Portuse of the Washington Redskins , Singer/Songwriter and actress Mandy Moore and the President of Carnival Cruise Line Christine Duffy. 

In addition to her work in beauty, she is a brand ambassador for Phomaz Handbags. Sandra also have a passion for giving and philanthropy, she continues to work with women and children around the globe to stop violence and hunger. 

In 2015, she produced a star-studdied fashion show in Miami Opening Art Basel to bring lights (Solar puff lights) to devastated regions such as Haiti and Nepal.
